If you're interested in Yoga, a good place to start would be the Movement & Mind yoga classes. It's a traditional Hatha class and caters for all levels of ability.
If you are interested in Martial Arts, our regular class is open to anyone looking at learning a practical self defence method or for fitness, speed and agility. All levels of ability welcome.

Yes. Booking a class is essential. You can choose to book and pay online or book and pay at the studio. Book a class here.
At the moment you, if you have not attended Zurakaro before, you are welcome to book a free class.
You can use one of our non-slip yoga mats or you may prefer to bring your own mat.
You may use our boxing gloves, focus mitts and kick pads, however you may prefer to bring your own equipment.
Our schedule changes from time to time. We also have guest teachers who may bring their own style. We like to make sure there are classes for al levels of ability. There is traditional Hatha yoga, through to Vinyasa flow and a very unique fusion called HIYA yoga. Check our schedule for the most up=to-date classes.

The regular martial arts class is 'mixed martial arts for self defence'. This doesn't mean cage fighting - It's an easy to learn, effective method, utilising the basics of arts such as Thai boxing, Filipino Boxing, Muay Boran and Silat.
A class consists of a physical workout, demonstration and practice of technique and padwork drills to develop skill and agility. Pressure testing according to students requirement.
Suitable for someone wanting to learn a practical self defence or just for fitness and agility purposes.
Gym wear, or something that give you flexibility of movement and is not restrictive. Yoga classes are attended bare foot. Storage is available for your shoes and / or personal belongings.
Water is available for free in reception but if wish to bring your own drink you may do so. Tea, coffee and coconut water is available to purchase at reception.
Classes can be adapted for most levels of ability. If you have any particular requirements or concerns please contact us prior to your visit.

Firstly Yoga is way more than just being flexible. Yoga is an art a science and a philosophy.
Asana – The poses in Yoga, develop flexibility slowly over time, so don't worry if you're not already flexible, most beginners aren't.
We don't like to call them rules. Let's call them observations 🙂
Arrive well in time for your class. When you arrive last minute, or late, it disrupts other students and you won't have time to mentally prepare yourself. If you are 5 or more minutes late I'm afraid you will not be able to attend.
No shoes in the studio area.
No drinks in the studio area unless in a sealed bottle.
Phones off, or on silent during classes.
Although there are areas for your personal belongings, Zurakaro is not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal belongings.
Treat Zurakaro with the same respect you'd treat your home and respect students and staff as if they were your family - after all, we are family.
Please inform your teacher or guide if you have any injuries or specific requirements or if you are pregnant.
